Or at least the perfect drink post run. I slept in this morning which meant running in "warmer" weather however it was worth it. I track work-outed on the beach and then hung out there a little afterward.
All along this trip I have noticed laundry lines, which makes me think of my grandparents and handing my grandmother clothes pins and then taking them back depending on which stage of the drying they were in. The lines are a little impractical for the tourist set here because it rains every day and you will always be coming home to wet clothes. I find them interesting because you never know what people will hang out to dry. It is an oddly public window into someone's existence.
My snorkeling adventure was cancelled today because of rough water (it was also heavy downpours). I was bummed. Rick who helped me book it told me I should be glad that someone in Thailand was using good judgement.
In absence of my outing I went and found some street food and got a massage (following Kate B.'s #massageeverydayplan).
After that it was an easy evening hanging out and going to dinner with friends. There was even a jam session involved.
