Every Plane Should have a Yoga Hallway: A330

0245 am wake up call from my brother in law and I was out the door driving in my rented suv by 3. The drive to LA was uneventful and I arrived much more quickly than I expected. I had enough time to eat breakfast, grab my boarding passes, and be encouraged to take the earlier flight by my sister. My original flight was overbooked and having already had some travel absurdity it didn't take much to convince me. I went to the gate and they changed me immediately.

PSA: if my sister tells you to alter your travel plans you should do it even if it costs you money (this change luckily did not). She is a soothsayer when it comes to voyages. You may even just want to seek her out. I am sure she wouldn't mind me providing the Internet her cell number.

Initially I was bummed Bc there was a cabin pressure issue described by the pilot as "an inability to regulate". For some reason this made me think of cross between Harrison Ford in Airforce One and every other movie he has been in a plane (for no other reason than I like reasons to think of Harrison Ford) and people's faces melting off (I guess my antimalarial medication is working). Because of this We had to deplane and wait for a new plane. During this time I watched my old flight board and taxi away.

Finally our new plane arrived, I was upgraded (translation delicious snacks), I had an awesome seat mate, and our pilot assured me personally that I was going to make my connection.

I landed in Seattle to discover my original flight was not there yet. It was apparently too heavy to take off because some type of body part wind and I would not have made my connection to Amsterdam if I had not switched.

As I arrived at my gate as they were boarding. I lucked out once again with a three empty seat row and close proximity to the area of the plane that I will from this point forward call the yoga hallway. Lots of yoga, planks and leg work later I am hoping for an excellent plane breakfast soon. Is that a real thing you ask? Fly Emirates and they will show you.
Goedemorgen!
