Here we go again, I feel the chemicals kicking in...

Oh wait, I haven't taken the Dramamine vs Benadryl vs Ambien yet in hopes to sleep during the amazing 18-20 hour flight plus who knows how much airport time, that won't be until Friday. It's just Tuesday. There are antibiotics to get, converters to buy, random medical supplies to pick up, and who knows what else to accomplish before then.

I have begun packing (Hooray!)  and that always equals a good time. Also known as Stitch the cat sitting in my suitcase looking panicked while attempting to unpack anything I have put in it, and my realization that I have way too much stuff. Why do I own all of this?? How did it get here? Someone should stop the madness. Martha's Table (the place in the neighborhood to donate clothing type stuff) here I come.

Looks like a National Geographic Expo Piece
Anyways off to Ethiopia I go with Healing the Children on April 5th for a little over a week to do some pediatric urology with one of my attendings and also to see what I can see, post what I can post, and work out for Tough Mudder (since it is the Saturday after I return).

I am not quite sure what to expect since a Google image search of Addis Ababa (which is always the best way to find the correct answer) yields these images directly adjacent to one another. My impression of Ethiopia thus far is completely shaped by 60 minutes (tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick).

Looks like a park somewhere tropical
(Think kid in some kind of red wrappy thing smiling and looking very skinny.), the Embassy ("Miss your passport may be ready in 2 days or it may  be 5" "How will I know?" "Come back in 2 if it is not ready you come back in 5")  And various cab drivers here in DC (FYI they say eat at Duk'em), who have all been very friendly.
