"Goodbye Martha" -HH

Becoming a pediatric doctor has been my goal for the last 15 years and becoming a pediatric urologist has been my goal for the last 10.

Today was my last day in the operating room as a fellow and I wouldn't have wanted this day to be any other way. 

This past year (past 15 years) has (have) been so many things. If only there were words that could adequately express or even come close to embodying what happens when 15 years of "I want to be a ______ when I grow up." Finally Changes into "I am a ________."
