I understand Spanish

So maybe this is a story that should never be retold, however, everyone here has had such a great time laughing at me I feel like I should include the big black abyss that is those potentially reading this blog as well.
So I was walking home from school, wearing a not too short (I would say respectable) green skirt when the stars aligned. Right at the exact moment a mini of tornado of wind swirled around my backside I readjusted my bag thus moving my ropa interior (look it up, it is spanish). My skirt flew up got caught in said ropa interior and I mooned all of five oclock traffic in San Jose. I immediately tried to yank my skirt out while at the same time trying to avoid turning the mild thrill into a full on peep show for the passers by. The whole thing may have taken 15 seconds (at the most), but not before random women were leaning out of their cars yelling ¨Your Skirt! Your skirt!¨ and random men were doing the same yelling things like mamacita!! and yes ¨pretty lady¨ FANTASTIC!!!
The worst part of this whole experience was yet to come. Since it was five oclock traffic for the next 15 minutes until I decided to go and sit in a store, the same people would pass me and then be stopped by the traffic jam, then I would catch up and the yelling and laughter would continue. over and over. It is the first time I wasn{t so happy that I understood almost everything that was being yelled in my direction.
