Addresses in San Jose

So even if some of you wanted to send me some love via the post office, I am pretty sure that would be next to impossible. As far as I can tell only 3 streets near me have names and they aren´t marked as such. People just ¨know¨. My address is similar to that of my companeros on the trip. I am 150 m from a certain light pole which is preceded by right-left turn directions (also in meters) from one of the shopping centers which is about half a mile away (and I promise I am not making this up or even exagerating in the slightest). There are no numbers on houses only more or less measurements from random and not even slightly spectacular landmarks on any given street. So if you ever come to Costa Rica, specifically to San Jose have them pick you up or bring a tape measure.
