I am here

First of all I wasn´t prepared for all of the web to be in Spanish. Yikes and yikes.
The run down of today. In the airport I checked in right behind a group of 9th graders most of whom had no idea where they were going, apparently their parents signed them up. One of the girls put the largest piece of luggage I have seen in recent history on the scale and it came back 77 pounds. In response to this she squeals ¨that is ok, I am prepared¨ Did I mention that her bag was black with large pink polka dots and pink bows tied all over¿ she pulls out a tremendous duffle of the same pattern and begins redistributing. She will be gone for a total of 8 days or so she said.
Enough of the random aside. I am here at my host families somewhere between San Pedro and something I can´t spell, in the suburbs of San Juan. My Tica Mother speaks no English at all and neither does her daughter. Her son speaks a little and told me that he will help me. There house and my room is really nice. High'speed internet and there is even a TV in my room. Tomorrow I have orientation and then I am off somewhere for the weekend.
The people here have already been incredibly nice. I am so excited to be here.
